Bike Night April 9 and Pub night April 2
CALGARY THURSDAY BIKE NIGHT A&W 16 AVE. AND 4 ST NW.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES!
The weather forecast is in our favour for April 9 and we hope to see all of you that can get you bikes out of the garage. If you can’t ride your bike there, plan on driving and attending the opener for the season.
Final “Winter” Pub Nite Review
The last “winter” pub nite of the year was noticeably more relaxed and casual than the first two, mainly due to the new venue! Donovan’s Pub offered inexpensive draft and bottled beer, and their homemade pizzas and nachos are truly of legendary stature. Background blues and rock music did not overwhelm the conversations. About half a dozen hardcore motorcyclists showed up, and two near-lunatics actually rode in the zero degree weather, braving the slick streets. Cheers to Bob on his Awesome Suzuki M109 and Ace on his Traditional Triumph Bonneville for being the only two to ride! The next “official” winter pub nite won’t be until November, but this is actually a good thing because it means we are on the crest of riding season. Now is the time to get those batteries topped up with tap water and go for a ride. Where are we all riding to? Lets start with the A&W Thursday Night Bike Nite and go from there!
